Enough is enough

I don’t know how to start. Just a few weeks ago I saw Pearl Harbor the movie. I asked myself that if something like that could have happened in India would India have also retaliated in the same way. But now I regret why I asked such a question because God has never let any of my questions unanswered. A horrible thing happened in India. And this could cause even more disasters if the anger of ours is not contained with. I in my life have never cried so much. Even when my very close relatives have died I have never cried. But I don’t know why I just can’t stop tears coming out my eyes by seeing all those. I felt like they are not burning the Taj but our India. Therefore I want a little help from you. Please publish what I have to say. Today we all have got a fire burning in our hearts let us keep that fire burning rather than extinguishing it by doing any nasty business. We have channelized this fire to win the war on terror. Not against any nation and any religion.
26th Nov 08 is a day which we Indians are not going to forget soon and should not do so even. We Indian have borne much more than what we should. Ab pani sarse upar ja chuka hai. And if we are not going to change we will drown forever. Enemies of our state tried to make roads to spread terror in India by Gateway of our nation. But let stand together in this hour of distress with our brothers and sisters out there in Mumbai. Mumbai have been hit by those terrorists repeatedly. Still, Mumbai managed to shake off that terror. We all Indian like your brother and sister in Mumbai should stand together and strong, to retaliate those who have made our peace-loving country a war zone.
These cowards only got chance to attack because today we live in India not as Indian but as Bengalis, Maharashtrian, Biharis and whatever more our so-called leaders could divide us in. Let’s stand united against terrorism. Terrorism has got no religion and no nationality. Like Americans who used Pearl Harbour and 9/11 attack to make their country united and strong. Let’s do the same to our country too. They have not only attacked Mumbaikars but Indians. Now we have to change. If you have even a little bit of dignity for yourself and love for your country left. Then open your eyes. Else one day I or you will have a lead in our back and will not be able to open our eyes forever.
Let change forever. Let’s make our country strong and secure. Whether you are a student or a teacher or any other work do, we all could contribute at least something to our nation. Surely if a fraction of American can change their nation, then why we 1.2 billion people can’t stand together and change our nation? After all, we have gone to the moon; we have made our country the largest democracy in the world.
Thinks of all those who have died in Mumbai. A young soldier killed in the line of duty. A young boy who got his dead family as his 2nd birthday gift. Thanks to Mumbai police, Navy Commandos, Army, RAF & NSG a lot of lives have been saved today. These people are always protecting us in freezing cold weather or in a hail of bullets. So that we can live freely. That what our forefathers did. They fought for 200 years. My grandfather was also a freedom fighter. So I am surely going to fight for my freedom, liberty and my country’s democracy. Because I know freedom is not free it is priceless.
We can surely fight these coward terrorists. Perhaps it may be over in a few years or it may be a long battle but we will surely be victorious. And in this war against evil, God will surely help even though we Indians call him by different names.
I request my friend’s whether they are from India or from Pakistan. To elect a responsible government. Which may work in cooperation with each other rather than starting bickering each other when such incidence happens. We have to cooperate with the security personnel. Abide by all the laws and help our country to fight this war against terrorism. We will surely win. So pledge today that we will make sure that 26/11 is not repeated again in Indian history.

Together we can

I liked the idea given by Sulakshana. Why should we all work separately and not together? After all, all of ours projects are related to climate change. We are just tackling it through different fronts. Someone is working for green building, someone in climate finance, someone in awareness etc. But my project has got best of all the worlds. So surely need the help of all you guys out there. But then the one of our Martian Mr. Raghav’s worry is very correct. What I think we should do is we should simply write about what we are doing and let the help flow in. All the things which Raghav says are true and practical. But then we have to make our project impactful. And this work cannot be done alone for sure. So we should focus our energy at not more than ten projects at a time. But surely we can pass suggestions and all to others. For example we in East Zone more precisely ICCs in and around Kolkata have 4 waste management projects so we are doing it together. I also have a waste managemen...

UnIndianing India

Today our Republic turns 70years. In these year we have raised ourselves from ashes of partition and hate, braved conflicts internal and external. Yet we have carried on as a republic for so long, because we stayed true to the ideals of our founding fathers. The ideas that shaped our struggle against a colonist, against the communalists. But very often did our republic find itself at the verge and it seemed the dreams that freedom fighters saw for our free nation might be too much. Last few months if not years have been like that as well. When we seem to be turning our backs to the principles that defined our country. Principles of unity in diversity. Where so many people from so many different part regions, religions speak so many languages, can live and thrive together. Where different ideas from anywhere is not frowned upon. Where one does not have to fear to speak his/her minds out. Where people from different places and religions were welcomed not just as guests but as God...
