Last day world celebrated Earth day. We speak a lot we ask everyone to do a lot. But in reality we just do nothing at all. This year I spent the worst Earth Day ever in my life. Half of the day there was no electricity and half of the day there was no water. And most importantly there was grief of losing a very good friend. Rimili she was such a good person. She was not so attractive. That was the reason lot of my friends avoided her. But she never ever behaved badly with us. She was always good to all of us. She won us all with her love. But now when she could have seen the good days she went to God’s Own Place. Where ever she must have gone people must be very lucky. But I am just feeling that I am responsible for her death. We all are responsible for her death. How long are we gonna sleep and have ridiculous dreams about how better live are we getting. I ask you have our parents lived better lives than us or not? How many more times will we say this that nothing will change? How many times? We all know that our country is changing and it is going in good direction. But still there are things which are bad in our country too like any other in this country. But we have to decide whether to fight for the better this country or to run away from this fight. Don’t we feel ashamed when we see a child working in a shop? Don’t we feel guilty when we refuse to give alms to a beggar? How many more time will this go on happening? How many more time will we see our country let down by few groups of peoples? How many more times will we choose those lambs for lions like us? Aur kab tak? Ab to needh se jago! Ab to awaaz uthao. Our country is called to be world’s largest democracy. It is not made this by just few bunches of peoples but it was made so by people like us. It was we who proved to the world that there is nothing stronger than human will. Our forefather wanted liberty and freedom, they fought for it.

Can you tell me when you apply for a job in IAS or in Armed forces you are asked to show your police record. And only those with a clean chit get the job. Then why the people leading this good and responsible people will be criminals. From drug mafia to rapist and murderers, everyone seems love this public job. Even in many films we have seen that politicians are mocked when a character says that without a criminal record I could never enter politics. Is this the state of current Indian politics? Who are responsible for this all? We are. Even when we keep a house maid we ask so many questions from her. But when we are electing some one to such an important public office, we are not at all bothered to know who he is. If he speaks well and have got a good amount of muscle power, then we will vote for him. But when some thing goes wrong in the country then we take out candle march through the streets. This year I won’t be able to vote because I will turn 18 on 12th of May. So I have decided to ask as many people as I could to vote this year in this LS election. But who ever I told to vote said that whom we should vote for no one is good. In reality also all the member hardly differ from each other. Every on speaks in the same voice. No says something good for which we should vote for. And today’s youth is not that fool who will be misled by there false rhetoric. So the best way to not to vote for those people is not to go for votes. But in this way a whole generation will be created who will have no belief in this democratic system. Previously when there was the paper voting system negative votes can be caste in many ways but nowadays the with EVMs this is not possible. But what if a voter doesn’t like any of the candidates.
