Dance of democracy is over.

It seems like all those who wrote all these kinds of blogs have simply wasted there time. Cos as the old people say young generation is very irresponsible. So we have proved. Today my 85 years old granny has gone for voting but my above 18 years old friends they were thinking of different kinds of excuses. One said he did not know that he must get a voter ID card. One says he does not know where his voting booth is.
I always respected those in high offices. However, after 26/11, I started hating them. Now I again respect them. You know why? Because it for them why we have come here. Yes, there are bad peoples among them too but the majority is good. Now I salute them because we never crosscheck them still they have carried on to develop our country. However, many of them try their best to divide us but they actually unite us. Look everywhere everyone is part of this grand celebration whether he is a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christians. Everyone who is an Indian is part of this. But what we the people do we do not believe in India, which have given us so much in our life. Because of these people, our country ranks second in about everything. When it can actually rank first. So I ask those who will criticise the politicians if anything wrong happens in our country. Not to criticise them but criticise themselves. Because in reality you are responsible for everything that is wrong in our country.

Together we can

I liked the idea given by Sulakshana. Why should we all work separately and not together? After all, all of ours projects are related to climate change. We are just tackling it through different fronts. Someone is working for green building, someone in climate finance, someone in awareness etc. But my project has got best of all the worlds. So surely need the help of all you guys out there. But then the one of our Martian Mr. Raghav’s worry is very correct. What I think we should do is we should simply write about what we are doing and let the help flow in. All the things which Raghav says are true and practical. But then we have to make our project impactful. And this work cannot be done alone for sure. So we should focus our energy at not more than ten projects at a time. But surely we can pass suggestions and all to others. For example we in East Zone more precisely ICCs in and around Kolkata have 4 waste management projects so we are doing it together. I also have a waste managemen...

UnIndianing India

Today our Republic turns 70years. In these year we have raised ourselves from ashes of partition and hate, braved conflicts internal and external. Yet we have carried on as a republic for so long, because we stayed true to the ideals of our founding fathers. The ideas that shaped our struggle against a colonist, against the communalists. But very often did our republic find itself at the verge and it seemed the dreams that freedom fighters saw for our free nation might be too much. Last few months if not years have been like that as well. When we seem to be turning our backs to the principles that defined our country. Principles of unity in diversity. Where so many people from so many different part regions, religions speak so many languages, can live and thrive together. Where different ideas from anywhere is not frowned upon. Where one does not have to fear to speak his/her minds out. Where people from different places and religions were welcomed not just as guests but as God...
